Shortly after WWII, our family began gathering each summer at a lake in Texas to enjoy life after America’s greatest struggle. Life in this great land was at its best after a conflict most thought would never end.

We camped in tents and fished night and day. We water-skied from dawn to dusk and sat by the fire under the stars. We enjoyed everything the hot Texas summers had to offer. It was the best kind of summer…and embodied a lifestyle that continues today.
Through the years, it became known as Camp Hayden. Celebrate the Texas we love in honor of the best of times.
