I planned a little weekend getaway for my husband's birthday at the lovely Suite Savannah. After such a wonderful weekend in this gracious town and beautiful home, he already wants to plan another trip to return! We loved the decor, bedding, tub, etc., but by far our favorite was the porch swing!

We loved Suite Savannah. The bed is very comfortable. The decor is gorgeous and Lens enjoyed the chance to play a few tunes on the antique piano for me upon request.

We had a wonderful time in Fredericksburg and in the beautiful Savannah Suite. We especially loved the sparkling chandeliers. There is even one over the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! Great way to celebrate our 21st anniversary. We'll be back.

We are often asked to name our most beautiful suite. While that is no easy task, Suite Savannah always makes the list! Suite Savannah is one of four enormous completely private suites located inside the Victorian Mansion. It was built as part of the original 1910 home but was restored in 1999 when the Sikes family bought the property. Suite Savannah could also be called the "Chandelier Suite" as it boasts five beautiful chandeliers.
It is comprised of the original formal part of the home and is our most authentic Fredericksburg suite. It includes a lavish formal living room complete with 1908 Chickering Grand Piano, plus an elegant dining room with exquisite wood moulding, pocket doors and custom Victorian drapes. It is often hard for guests to believe but YES...all of those beautiful huge rooms you see in the photos will be yours alone!
Suite Savannah's spacious bedroom offers a beautiful mahogany king size bed with beautiful bedding and cable TV. However, Suite Savannah's biggest claim to fame is the fabulous over-sized jacuzzi tub for two! Enjoy a long romantic soak with your special someone after a long day of hitting the shops!
