The romantic Terah's Garden (pronounced like "Tara" in Gone with the Wind) is one of our largest, most popular private cottages and is located just a block and a half north of Main St. in Fredericksburg's famed historic district. You will first be wowed by the wonderful landscaping and private front patio Terah's Garden offers, perfect for morning coffee or just listening to the doves coo. The front patio is a welcome respite from every day life, offering an elegant outdoor wood burning fireplace, upscale furnishings, a soothing fountain and ceiling fan, making it the ultimate place to put your feet up at the end of the day.
From the front patio you will enter the cottage and surely be impressed by the chic yet comfortable den which offers a leather sleeper sofa and chair, gas fireplace (just flip a switch for instant romance!) and 42" plasma TV with DVD player and extensive cable selections.
Adjacent is the full size kitchen and dining area. This beautiful tiled kitchen includes new custom taupe-glazed cabinetry, granite countertops and all the latest appliances you would need should you decide to cook (oven, microwave, dishwasher, and full size refrigerator.)
The downstairs bedroom offers an elegant king size iron bed with exquisite bedding and two ample closets (stocked for you with decadent monogrammed microfiber robes). You will also enjoy a fabulous Tuscan red bathroom which includes an oversized jacuzzi tub for two plus a separate glass shower.
Upstairs you will find a pretty queen size iron bed, large jacuzzi tub for two, comfortable sitting area and yet a second gas fireplace and 37" flat screen television. (Note: There are two ways to access the upstairs bedroom and bath. One is by walking through the downstairs bedroom, and the other is through a private staircase which is accessed through an outside door.)
Despite all the luxury inside, our guests often rave the most over our new back patio which is home to our "oh so soothing" private hot tub! Walk through the rose-draped arbor and into total relaxation. It just doesn't get any better than this!
