Rocky Hill Bed and Breakfast is a historic and traditional bed and breakfast complex consisting of 6 wonderful B&Bs combining history, beauty, and comfort. Conveniently located on the 290 Wine Trail just 5 minutes from Fredericksburg, Rocky Hill provides beautiful un-obstructed views of the Texas Hill Country. A beautiful setting, historic nostalgia, and luxurious accommodations equal a truly exceptional B&B experience.
Log cabins offer rustic charm highly sought after by today’s B&B traveler, and Rocky Hill has two of the best. An old-fashioned “dog trot” in the style German settlers built when settling the area in the 1840s separates the Meusebach Creek Suite and the Cherry Spring Suite. They are the largest and most luxurious accommodations at Rocky Hill. The two cabins make a great group option for those wanting to be near their traveling companions while retaining privacy.
Plan now to enjoy the comfortable ambiance of the Cherry Spring Suite. A king-size wooden bed covered in beautiful linens and quilts invites you to crawl in and unwind from every stress. You will enjoy the en suite bathroom with large shower (big enough for two!) and roomy vanity area. The den includes a large sofa and throws to wrap up in and enjoy a favorite movie on satellite TV as well as a comfortable sitting area for reading a great novel. The sofa is also a sleeper if you need room for two more guests. The attention to detail mixing luxury and authenticity will impress you, and if that's not enough, the Cherry Spring Suite includes a limestone wood-burning fireplace to snuggle in front of on those chilly Hill Country nights.
