When you think Fredericksburg's best location, you think Inn on the Creek, right? The Inn is not only located steps from all the most popular Main Street shops and restaurants, it also offers all the luxury amenities sought by today's luxury traveler. In the front of the Inn you will find the beautiful Bella Suite, formerly known as the Oak View Suite due to the room's lovely view overlooking our famous 400 year old oak tree. While the suite still offers an amazing vista, after its recent remodel it is just too beautiful for that name...now it is known as Bella which means beautiful in Italian!
This charming suite offers a delightful king bed with decadent silk and velvet bedding, plus soaring 12' ceilings and hardwood floors. Guests of the Bella Suite will also enjoy a beautiful private bathroom with the Inn's only Spa shower with rainwater head above and four jets from the wall, massaging away your aches and pains.
The Bella Suite is located in the original front portion of the Inn, dating back to 1860-70. The fabulous Nimitz Museum (all 32,000 square feet...the largest museum covering the Pacific war) is located directly across the street, making the Inn the perfect place from which to explore this national treasure. All rooms at the Inn on the Creek enjoy a fabulous gourmet breakfast served each morning in our beautiful dining room. Guests return time and time again just to enjoy the delightful fare Joyce presents each morning. Expect to enjoy such delicacies as stuffed french toast, egg frittatas, and fresh fruit with creme fraiche topping. You'll also savor down-home favorites such as honey smoked bacon and biscuits and gravy. One thing is for sure; guests never leave our table hungry!
Of course, all guests of the Inn also enjoy the finer amenities you would expect from a small boutique inn, including: free wireless internet, imported toiletries, monogrammed robes, large hot tub in our garden, comfortable mattresses, luxurious sheets, off-street parking, and more.
