When you think Fredericksburg's best location, you think Inn on the Creek, right? The Inn is not only located steps from all the most popular Main Street shops and restaurants, it also offers all the luxury amenities sought by today's luxury traveler. Of all the rooms at the Inn, the largest suite, formerly known as the Garden View, has just undergone a major renovation. While the suite does overlook our lovely garden and 400 year old oak tree, it is simply too elegant and romantic to be known simply as the Garden View Suite. The new name for this lovebird's paradise is Suite Bliss because that's what we believe our guests will experience each time they visit.
This oversized suite now offers not only a luscious king bed with decadent silk and velvet bedding, but also a brand new corner whirlpool tub for two right in the middle of the bedroom! We almost named the room the Honeymoon Suite, but we realize that "honeymoon" is simply a state of mind; and we hope yours lasts a lifetime. Guests of Suite Bliss will also enjoy a brand new oversized Tuscan tiled shower with huge rain shower head above and beautiful cabinetry throughout.
Suite Bliss is located in the original front portion of the Inn, dating back to 1860-70. The fabulous Nimitz Museum (all 32,000 square feet...the largest museum covering the Pacific war) is located directly across the street, making the Inn the perfect place from which to explore this national treasure. All rooms at the Inn on the Creek enjoy a fabulous gourmet breakfast served each morning in our beautiful dining room. Guests return time and time again just to enjoy the delightful fare Joyce presents each morning. Expect to enjoy such delicacies as stuffed french toast, egg frittatas, and fresh fruit with creme fraiche topping. You'll also savor down-home favorites such as honey smoked bacon and biscuits and gravy. One thing is for sure; guests never leave our table hungry!
Of course, all guests of the Inn also enjoy the finer amenities you would expect from a small boutique inn, including: free wireless internet, imported toiletries, monogrammed robes, large hot tub in our garden, comfortable mattresses, luxurious sheets, off-street parking, and more.
