Our bed in the Admiral Suite was so comfortable and so beautiful that we slept through breakfast the first two mornings! The large tub was great for a soak together after walking around town all day. The Inn definitely has location, location, location!

Of all the rooms at the Inn, the grandest is known as the Admiral Suite, named for Fredericksburg's favorite son, Admiral Chester Nimitz of Pacific War fame.
This spacious suite offers not only a four-poster king bed with decadent silk and velvet bedding, plus soaring 12' ceilings and hardwood floors. Guests of the Admiral Suite will also enjoy a beautiful private bathroom with exposed rock walls plus a large oval soaking tub for two plus shower.
The Admiral Suite is located in the original front portion of the Inn, dating back to 1860-70. The fabulous Nimitz Museum (all 32,000 square feet...the largest museum covering the Pacific war) is located directly across the street, making the Inn the perfect place from which to explore this national treasure. All rooms at the Inn on the Creek enjoy a fabulous gourmet breakfast served each morning in our beautiful dining room. Guests return time and time again just to enjoy the delightful fare Joyce presents each morning. Expect to enjoy such delicacies as stuffed french toast, egg frittatas, and fresh fruit with creme fraiche topping. You'll also savor down-home favorites such as honey smoked bacon and biscuits and gravy. One thing is for sure; guests never leave our table hungry!
Of course, all guests of the Inn also enjoy the finer amenities you would expect from a small boutique inn, including: free wireless internet, imported toiletries, monogrammed robes, large hot tub in our garden, comfortable mattresses, luxurious sheets, off-street parking, and more.
