Our bed in the Admiral Suite was so comfortable and so beautiful that we slept through breakfast the first two mornings! The large tub was great for a soak together after walking around town all day. The Inn definitely has location, location, location!

Of all six suites at the Inn, the leader is often the one found at the very front of the Inn, the grand daddy of them all, the Admiral Suite. The Admiral Suite, named for Fredericksburg's favorite son, Admiral Chester Nimitz, is located in the original front portion of the Inn, dating back to 1860-70. The fabulous Nimitz Museum (all 32,000 square feet...the largest museum covering the Pacific war) is located directly across the street, making the Inn the perfect place from which to explore this national treasure.
In addition to its great location, the Admiral Suite offers a spectacular four-poster king size bed with sumptuous velvet and silk custom bedding, beautiful hardwood floors and a comfortable sitting area for having coffee or reading. The Admiral's bathroom includes exposed original rock walls and a large oval soaking tub with shower. The Admiral Suite also boasts soaring 12 foot ceilings and exquisite mouldings. It is certainly among our grandest and most often requested rooms. Next time you are in Fredericksburg, make plans to stay at Inn on the Creek's Admiral Suite!
