Gilbriar Gasthaus is a spacious, clean, simple farmhouse on 10 acres just outside the city limits of Fredericksburg. Only a stone's throw from the original 1882 pioneer stone house now being restored, Gilbriar Gasthaus affords guests a country feeling while being only minutes from all the Main Street shops and attractions. The two bedroom, one bathroom cottage is an organic blend of vintage farm and modern convenience with an emphasis on quiet simplicity providing calm serenity in a rural setting.
From your large covered porch you will enter the spacious den with vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating area and 46" flat screen TV with cable selections and a DVR. Here you will also find a game table with four chairs, perfect for an evening meal or maybe a game of cards. The den opens into the bright modern kitchen, custom outfitted with all the conveniences of home. Notice the large new stainless steel refrigerator, microwave and range complemented by beautiful and sleek quartz countertops.
The cottage offers two large bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed. The ample bathroom includes a tub/shower combination and also a washer and dryer, perfect for extended stays.
