Downtown Dreams - Chardonnay Hideaway was renovated with much love and care from an old carriage house behind Downtown Dreams - Chateau Merlot. The owners invested a full year of TLC on this charming retreat to be sure that their guests' every need was met. The famed Texas wineries inspired them in their decor and vision for this beautiful private cottage. You will appreciate the craftsmanship from the richly stained concrete floors to the faux half-timbered trim on the walls inside. A queen size wrought iron bed has been fitted with a luxurious sleep number mattress and decked to the nines in elegant bedding. An antique armoire has been cleverly integrated to provide closet space. Above the armoire you will find a huge wall-mounted plasma TV with DVD player. The convenient kitchenette offers a mini-fridge, microwave, sink and full size dishwasher. The crowning jewel of this cottage, however, is the bathroom! Enjoy the beautiful corner jacuzzi tub for two...or how about a nice long shower in the beautifully tiled glass shower with oil-rubbed bronze rainwater head?
Privacy and luxury in vibrant downtown Fredericksburg, located a half block from the world famous Nimitz Museum. Main Street shopping, great restaurants, live music, wine and cheese, and gourmet coffee shop all available within a one-block radius.
The Chardonnay Hideaway and the Chateau Merlot share a courtyard and can be booked together for group getaways! Park your car and don’t move it the entire weekend! If it's cozy charm and great location you are looking for, you just cannot beat Chardonnay Hideaway!
