Location, location, location, this is true because it is so close to downtown! This house is absolutely beautiful. The decorations, the appliances, the landscaping; everything from the limestone walls to the Texas atmosphere. We are so happy to be the first family to stay here. There are few historic limestone homes in Fredericksburg that exude the warmth and charm of Creek and Crockett Bed and Breakfast. This delightful B&B is located just a short stroll to the heart of Main Street shopping and offers three bedrooms and two full baths. Although the house is steeped in history, it has recently undergone a full restoration ensuring all the luxuries you have come to expect at Absolute Charm.
As you enter the front door via the wonderful old porch (complete with rocking chairs of course) you will find a large, comfortable den with a wood burning fireplace. Enjoy the huge 56" flat screen TV with cable selections from the comfort of a large leather sectional sofa. Next you will find a light and bright kitchen and dining room. Windows abound filling the room with soft light. The full kitchen offers all the comforts of home, perfect for preparing a special meal.
Downstairs offers two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen. Between the two is a large bathroom with a shower. Upstairs you will find a third bedroom with two queen size beds and tub/shower combination. Creek and Crockett offers a romantic escape for a couple or a perfect getaway for groups up to 8. Children over 12 are welcome.
While the distinctive decor, hardwood floors, beamed ceilings and limestone walls inside the home are surely a draw, the home's most memorable feature may be its fabulous backyard. Guests enjoy a beautiful outdoor sitting area complete with outdoor fireplace (wood provided). After a great day of browsing the Main Street shops, just walk back to Creek and Crockett (the name is the location!), put your feet up and enjoy this back yard haven. With so many amenities to offer couples and groups, Creek and Crockett is a rare treasure indeed. Don't delay reserving your time in this special place!
