Brickner Guest House is a country oasis located just past Fredericksburg's city limits and is situated on 43 acres at the end of a long tree-lined drive. After you drive through the rock and iron security gate, you will pass through a second gate and over an incredible wooden covered bridge which spans a rock framed pond with cascading waterfalls. Look below as you cross and admire the beautiful white swans swimming gracefully below!
At the back of the acreage you will find Baron's Creek; feel free to try your luck at one of several great fishing holes (bring your own gear) or just stroll along the creek enjoying its natural beauty. Situated in the midst of all this natural beauty is the 3 story guest house with suites 1 & 2 on the bottom floor, suites 3 & 4 on the second floor, and the Penthouse well....of course on top!
Each suite has a private entrance to the outside wrap-around porch. There is no common interior space shared with any other guests. Your privacy is assured at Brickner Guest House. Suites 1 & 2 can be opened to adjoin as can suites 3 & 4 if you would like to be close to friends. Each suite also offers access to beautiful decks and balconies offering famous those famous Texas Hill Country views!
When it comes to luxury and romance, how can you beat the Penthouse Suite? This gorgeous, huge suite is located on the top, third floor of Brickner Guest House and enjoys a bird's eye view of this magnificent property. The large open suite offers a custom made king size bed facing your TV with satellite selections...(to access the bed, you pull out of the wall and push back if you want more space...it's not too heavy....a 115 pound woman opened it alone to take these photos!)
The room also includes a futon which can be folded out to hold two additional people....just perfect for kids or teens! Guests enjoy a beautiful tiled shower and oversized jacuzzi tub in the amazing bath. You will also find a full kitchen with granite counter tops, eating area and full size appliances, making it perfect for just a weekend or an extended stay! Also take note of the free wi-fi, upscale decor, exposed rock walls, satellite TV, private balcony and more.
