Aunt Violet's B&B has long been a Fredericksburg tradition. Located only six blocks from the Main Street shopping district, this lovely compound consists of a spacious 2 bedroom suite in the 1913 main house, plus two separate private log cabins in the back yard, and Althea House, a charming private Victorian cottage.
The suite in the main house, the Morning Glory Suite, is an elegant Victorian haven. Tin ceilings, exquisite period moldings and comfortable furnishings are a few of the touches you will appreciate in the Morning Glory Suite. You will enter the suite through gothic-inspired double doors and into a comfortable living area. From there you can explore the two delightful bedrooms, one with two twin beds and one with a queen sleigh bed. You will enjoy a spacious bathroom with an old fashioned claw foot tub plus shower.
Guests of the Morning Glory Suite find it an ideal place to stretch out and relax during their time in the hill country. The suite is perfect for a couple looking for a little extra space or for a group of friends. The extra room afforded by the Morning Glory would be ideal for a scrapbooking retreat, a couple wanting to bring along the kids or two couples wanting to spend time together without compromising their privacy.
