We researched the internet a year prior to our wedding date. After viewing many wonderful options, we agree on the Front Porch to stay during our honeymoon. It was a decision well made. The cottage is sooo cute and cozy. Everything is just as the online photos show.

Never having stayed at a B&B I wasn't sure what to expect. Much to our delight, the Front Porch was a perfect, romantic setting to celebrate our anniversary. I feel as if I have stayed in the pages of Cottage Living magazine, my personal favorite. We'll be back!

Front Porch Suite is part of our Across the Way Bed and Breakfast, located directly across the street from the elegant Victorian Mansion along with the Back Porch Suite, Ella's Haus and Arbor Cottage just a few blocks from Main St. shopping! Front Porch has long been a guest favorite due to its charming craftsman style and its comfortable, easy feel. From the front porch of this darling bungalow you will enter the comfortable den complete with breakfast nook and cable television. Here you will also find a convenient microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee pot with all the fixin's just waiting for your morning cup of joe to start your day of fun in the Hill Country right!
Through the romantic breezy curtains you will find a romantic bedroom fit for royalty. The wrought iron king size bed is dressed in ultra-luxurious Reilly Chance bedding, complete with velvets, silks, and yes even feathers to set a pampered mood.
It's hard to decide what is the most indulgent feature of the cottage: the large bathroom with an oversized jacuzzi tub for two and ambience fireplace, all under the romantic glow of a crystal chandelier, or the new private hot tub for two on the huge private courtyard with the beautiful outdoor fireplace and 8 foot privacy fence. Fortunately, you can enjoy both and decide for yourselves as you watch the flames flicker and soak away your cares after a long day of shopping Main Street!
