I wanted to write and tell you all once again what a wonderful time I had and how very much I enjoyed your beautiful "paradise" and your gracious and warm hospitality. I didn’t think I’d ever want to eat again but, sure enough, today I got hungry. I did get some nice pictures to remember my trip. I know my family here is getting tired of hearing about Sister Creek but I just keep thinking of something else neat about the place to tell. I told myself, "OK, I can die now - - I’ve been to Heaven and know the code to the Pearly Gate."

I was a guest at the ranch this past weekend. We all had such a fantastic time and hope to come back again. The hospitality was unbelievable from everyone at the ranch! How does one describe the ultimate Hill Country ranch experience? Well, this is Texas after all; so it would have to be big, and have lots of live water and Fredericksburg style architecture. And what ranch is complete without horses? And a hot tub....you've gotta have a hot tub! Well, we have just described Sister Creek Ranch, the ultimate Hill Country ranch getaway.
Sister Creek Ranch is located on 700 pristine acres and yet is only 20 minutes to downtown Fredericksburg. You might consider a longer stay as the ranch is also only 20 minutes to charming and historic Boerne, (pronounced "Bernie") Texas. Guests are immediately captivated as they drive onto the private, gated ranch, and across the beautiful, flowing river. Once inside the ranch, you will find two private 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabins outfitted to meet guests' every need. Each creek side cabin has an identical layout with only slight differences in color schemes, bedding, etc. Each offers one bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with two twins and another upstairs open bedroom/loft which also holds two twin beds. This layout makes the cabins perfect for up to 6 guests. Downstairs you will also find a mini-kitchen, den complete with rock fireplace and a relaxing screened porch.
Unlike our other properties, Sister Creek Ranch's two cabins are so interchangeable that we will put you in whichever one is available. They sit side by side and are virtually identical. Also unlike other properties, Sister Creek Ranch charges a flat fee per day per person but includes all your meals, PROVIDED YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION AT LEAST 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE! On the day of check-in you will receive dinner; on days you are staying over, you will receive three meals a day; and on checkout day, you will receive a hearty breakfast. Guests rave over the magnificent food they receive at Sniffy's Saloon. (There is no discount if you choose not to eat some or all of the meals.) After dinner, enjoy some karaoke time in the saloon or shoot a round of pool.
The Ranch is simply ideal for family reunions or small group getaways. Due to the size and location of the Ranch, guests are greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the setup. Accordingly guests must arrive at the Ranch by 7:30 in the evening. If you cannot arrive by 7:30, please do not book the ranch. Also note that the ranch is a private working Tennessee Walker ranch and is closed to guests on Sunday nights and Monday nights. These guidelines are put into effect for your safety and enjoyment.
